Built on Stellantis’s Smart Car platform (shared with Citroën C3 & Opel Frontera), the Grande Panda comes in two versions:

• Electric: 83 kW (113 hp) motor, 44 kWh LFP battery, ~199 mile WLTP range, with charging from 20–80% in ~33 minutes using a 100 kW DC charger.

• Mild-hybrid: a 1.2 L turbo petrol engine coupled with a small electric assist, delivering ~110 hp and ~10 s 0–62 mph time.

Design & Practicality
Retro-futuristic design cues pay homage to the original 1980s Panda: squared-off pixel LED headlights, “Panda” embossed 3D side lettering, and a spacious 361 L boot. Inside is a clever interior with a 10″ digital instrument panel, optional 10.25″ infotainment screen, bamboo-fibre trims, and up to 13 L of additional storage.

Performance & Driving Experience
The electric version offers composed, city-focused handling with a top speed around 82 mph, while the mild-hybrid does 0–62 mph in ~11 s. It’s efficient and easy to drive, albeit modest in outright performance.

Tech & Value
Features include LED pixel lighting, an integrated spiral charging cable stored behind a front flap, front/rear sensors, optional heated seats, rear-view camera, and value pricing starting from approximately £20,975 (EV) or £18,000+ (hybrid).

The Grande Panda revives the charm and practicality of the classic with modern efficiency and flair, offering accessible electric and hybrid mobility through smart design and affordability.
