The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS (992.2), introduced in 2024, marks a significant evolution in the 911 lineup by incorporating hybrid technology for the first time. This model combines a newly developed 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine with an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed PDK transmission, delivering a total output of 541 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. The hybrid system includes a 1.9 kWh battery and an electric exhaust turbocharger, enhancing throttle response and performance. With the Sport Chrono package, the GTS accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 194 mph. The 992.2 GTS is available in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, and in coupe, cabriolet, or Targa body styles. It features a 10 mm lower ride height, rear-wheel steering, and updated aerodynamics, including vertical air intakes on the front bumper. Inside, the GTS boasts a fully digital dashboard and enhanced connectivity features, blending classic 911 design with modern technology.
